Exciting news out of Melbourne today with approval given by the Victorian Government for what will become Australia’s tallest tower – Southbank by Beulah. Standing at 102 storeys, the tower will be located on 118 City Road and contain:

  • 89 apartments
  • 27,000 square metres of office space
  • 32,000 square metres of retail space 
  • a supermarket
  • a childcare centre
  • conference and exhibition centres
  • 322-room hotel.

The tower, designed by UNStudio and Cox Architecture who won an international design competition, aims to: 

“…create a new lifestyle precinct of international significance. It shall be mixed used in nature and shall comprise of a variety programs to create a hub of integrated programmatic intensity.”
